Who does not want music and food? These things are irresistible, right?! As an Online ESL teacher, why do we need to make use of these common likes we all have?

Undoubtedly, listening to music while understanding what is being said by the performer is a great way to pick up new words. However, if the singer’s delivery is a little hazy, a quick search of the song’s title will turn up the lyrics that aren’t quite pronounced. Additionally, once they have the lyrics, your students will be able to sing along, which could help them pronounce the words more clearly.

The majority of people eat three times a day, and everyone must eat. Your students can learn words to broaden their vocabularies and palates by carefully reading a menu. So, the next time your students eat out, challenge them to find at least one unfamiliar word on the menu and add it to their lexicon.
